Yeah! A lot has happened, and I haven't been posting on the comic...Or anything else for that matter...

- I moved to a new state.
- I got a new Job.
- I met new people.
- Don't have any space to do art work where I currently am living...
- Buying a house?

Yeah...

However!!!
There is some good news in all of this!
Once the house buying process is over and I get the house I really wanted, in goes all my art supplies from back in the storage along with desk space, and not my poor excuse of a pretend desk!!! So then from there saving up for a Cintiq 22 inch art tablet - woot! (This will take some penny pinching though...)

On notes of upgrades; I have been working on another set of comics and a webpage so that's some what the reason for the delay. The goal is to move into the new house 9/7/13 and from there everything should run smoothly on my artistic side...

 

Where I am currently is a death to any art bone I have in my body, hell, I prefer to be at work than at home!

 

Anyway, new comic information is still on the down-low, but as it stands I'll at least give away some lil'bits of info. The comic is titled "Locked Away; The Gears They Grind" (LATGTG)" it's a steampunk fantasy adventure mystery where fingers are pointed all around on who is and isn't a witch. It centers around a rag-tag group of state ordained wytchhunters which you can tell they're not the pick of the litter. These men are sent to what the sophisticated folk of the north call "The Cusp of Humanity", their purpose? "Purge all that plagues this land."

 It's unknown what will happen, but it can't get any worse - Right?...Right...?

I was out of town the week I was going to make an update on the comic, then I got a puppy and some family issues came about. In the end though I'm still here and I'm still writing/drawing and the Rise of the Fey Born continues.

This comic for the record is going to use some elements of commonly known fairy tales, and other not so known fables. Hope the readers/lookers enjoy!

. . . Now, Today Ladies and Gentleman, I'm faced with a pickle. . .
I'm not sure if it's actually a dill or sweet either. . . Mmm Pickle.
I find that the comic I'm making - Rise of the Fey Born - is coming around quickly. Now that might not sound like a big deal, an issue, or anything like that, but it is an issue for only one reason.

The coloring.

I have a strong dislike and a hatred for coloring, I have quite a bit of the comic done when it comes to line drawing, the thing that holds me up is the coloring. So the pickle is, to color, or not to color. I generally like the look for the comic thus far. If I don't color I could have a page up every week, if I do color I'm afraid I'll miss deadlines. Regardless, It WILL come around, I'm just not sure what to do yet.

Anywho! More to come, new characters to be posted and all that fun stuff! More updates on images, ongoing, and other random junk soon!


((PS: If you haven't started reading the book series "The Night Angel Trilogy" I suggest you change that and get to reading! Great set of books; Combat, Romance, Death, Life, Suffering - a great menagerie of character compositions and over all depth. You'll learn to love and hate many of the characters. I don't cry in many books but this one let me shed a few tears. NOW GET TO READING!))

So, I went to Otakon 2012.

For lack of better terminology at this point in time; ITWASOMGGREAT!

Other than the viciously burning alive in the preorder line of course. Melting under the sun sort of spoiled my zeal for the con, but never the less it was a great time with wonderful people.

Towards the end of the Con we went to the Cheese Cake Factor for the first time, and for the love of the gods and all that is holy it was nummy but EXPENSIVE as a governmental call girl. Also! I didn't even get cheesecake I was so full by the end. T_T (Ahi tuna and wasabi sause? Mmmmm)

I saw a few anime that I'm going to have to look into more and have once again started reading old mangas that somehow dropped off the face of the world in my eyes after spending time in this lovely place. Oh, I was excited to get a full set of Fairy Tale Keys (Lucy's to be exact) it was great!

On to things and stuff, a group of friends agreed to do an artist booth there next year, so that should rock!

And on the topic of art, some of you have noticed that I have started a new comic set in Terra'Caliga: Rise of the Fey Born. I look forward to continue working on that and will have a new page out every other week! So expect the next page on 08/14/12!!!

I have failed you in the fact that I NEVER EVER UPDATE.
